Thursday Schedule Confirmed for Vice President Xi’s Visit to Iowa

Des Moines, IOWA — Vice President Xi’s schedule for Thursday, February 16, 2012 has been finalized.  While in Iowa, several events, including a visit to an area farm, will be open up for media coverage.

Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds will be in attendance at these events.

Space and security concerns limit the number of reporters to a pool covering the Vice President’s Thursday schedule.  Those selected to pool the events have already received notification.

Fortunately, arrangements have been made to enable wide distribution of photos, video and audio.  Please see below.

Please note: Members of the press pool who have been granted media credentials will need to check-in with the security officer at each location upon arrival. Only properly credential media will be allowed in. Please bring your credential pass as given by the Office of the Governor, a government issued ID, and your local media pass.
